The TYPE/SPACE ATLAS shows the examination of spatial communication and understands itself as a systematic collection of work objects that show a bandwidth of investigations that were created during the eponymous seminar at the BERLIN UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS in winter semester 18/19. Students of the spatial-design departement have gone on ten routes through berlin. Located in different quarters of the city, they were in the search of writing and documenting spaces to investigate and further develop the communication of the urban context that constantly surrounds us. The results of the investigations are diverse experiments on writing in spatial contexts.
● The realisation of the book was supported by the PROFESSORINNEN PROGRAMM 2, BERLIN UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS
→ Class for spatial and exhibition design, Prof. Gabi Schillig, KM Ruven Wiegert
● The book shows works by Anna Osterberg, Cristina Achury, Fiona Belousz, Hanna Füsser, Hilka Dirks, Julian Loscher, Johanna von Scheven, Linda Elsner, Luisa Herbst, Lukas Winter, Maria Kobylenko, Mattis Bettels, Meret Schmiese, Moritz Kreul, Nils Hoepken, Tessa Meyer, Winona Bogner, Zora Hünermann
